What inspired me to make this painting was, as I was drawing it, I was thinking about starfish and how they lay in the water. Another thing it looks like is an octopus. When octopuses are in the ocean swimming, they are doing things like eating or hunting for food.
One of my favorite things about this painting is you can tell by the red lines that they are the legs. The other thing I like about this painting is, that the designs, techniques, and styles of this painting make it look like a robotic starfish.
